Lazy Sunday's are Wonderful

Rarely do I have an entire Sunday to do as I like , to sleep in (as in 8:00 o clock) then lounge about in bed with a stack of art and fashion mag's. Then get up and make a breakfast other than a yogurt, bowl of cereal or an egg. Something good like French Toast and bacon. Then get dressed in something toasty because it was 29 degrees this morn , which gave me the perfect excuse to wear my new lonnggg  soft salmon lacey leg warmer's that I bought from some rad crafter's at the Springfield farmer's market. Then go shop leisurely for nothing in particular and come home to to a hot cup of chocolate with homemade marshmallow's ( I bought) and work on some project's  while watching favorite movie's.  I wish for all to have such a day of bliss!!  Happy Sunday!

Winter Days

You know what they say.. In like a lamb. Out like a lion. And winter in our part of the world has been that! Some have received several feet of snow. We have had enough to be a drag for those on roads, and a joy for those on sled's! Alas, Winter's weariness is nearing it's end. This I know by the early and louder than usual tweet's of the bird's as they are readying for the Spring Twitterpating Season! And after this past week of daily gloom with it's wind, cold, and constant snowflakes, I must say that I'm ready for that lush pallor of green that makes everything feel alive and fresh in spring! Until then we will continue to snuggle like bear's in our den's , and in the word's of Laura Ingall's , The Long Winter.. "Wait for the Chinook to blow!" Happy Sunday xo Dawn

After a long day...

...there is nothing better than Chinese food and a good old movie... Well other than a one hour massage with a guy that look's like Brad Pitt... Happy Tuesday;)
The original Werewolf, with Lon Channey , a good family film, and Logan's Run, 1976, sci-fi,I think this is Farrah Fawcett's first cameo.

Flash back

My sister aka vintage honeybee , was just reminiscing about the super groovy, sweet ride we had as kid's. Our blue, and brown woodgrain van! Don't be hating! It was the Dee-Lux version! Decked out with, swiveling captain's chairs, a couch, that turned into a bed( of course), and a mini- fridge, card table and sink.. What more could a, hip" supa freak" family want? . .Oh well of course we had Olivia Newton John playing on the 8 track too!! What wheel's did you grow up riding in? I bet it didn't have curtain's like our's!! Lol!! Top o' the weekend to ya!
